Today I…

… Sent a parcel to my friend in England. It wasn’t a big parcel and as she reads here sometimes, I won’t mention what was in it other than to say that it’s not heavy. I had to stick 27 stamps on the envelope to cover the cost of posting this parcel.

… Drove behind a wrecker truck called ‘Lucky Wrecker Service.’ Does that mean you are lucky that you broke down or crashed so you can now have the pleasure of their service?

… Picked up my electoral registration card and realised how much my hair colour has changed in the last 4 months.

… And I designed the kitchen in my new house. I picked out the wood I want them to use, talked about where I needed electricity points and worked out what I wanted where. It didn’t take very long as the kitchen is so small that there are not many options.

And now it’s time to plan for the weekend.

Last year I sent a shirt as a parcel to an online friend in Finland.. I think I had to use around $400 in stamps I think but I dont remember putting more than 5 stamps on it either.

the parcel cost a total of $1,400! and it wasn’t that heavy…

The largest stamp denomination that they had available was a $60 stamp – and they didn’t have that many of them!!

gela – I might well not be able to vote. From what I’m hearing, elections will be while I’m off the island this summer so I’ll also miss my chance.

Spicy – I never actually made it to the show (shamed face), too manyother things got in the way… namely painting my walls cranberry red!

Cranky – hair had got to a very blonde state, it is now back to brown, with a reddish hint
