I’m here!

I reached Israel. The journey was hell (they seemed to suspect I was a terrorist and hence was quizzed lots, all luggage throughly checked, swabs taken of shoes and escorted onto plane by security) but otherwise all is good!

I am here for work – it is a training workshop which lasts a month. However, I will ensure that I see the country while I am here… in as safe a way as possible. Unfortunately I can’t download my photos on the computers here so you’ll have to wait until I get back to see them… but there will be lots and I promise that they will be good!

The other good side effect is that there is another course going on at the centre while I am here and it is for Spanish speakers. So I should hopefully return from Israel with some spanish… which will be useful for future adventures!

Learning spanish while in Isreal.. hmm, good luck with that 😉

Looking like a terrorist might work in your favor, it might save you some kidnapping incidents j/k.

Is it really that bad over there? I always hear people are afraid of Jamaica but I live here and its not so bad.

Shalom! Welcome. Glad yuh deh yah! I have always read the blogs from the caribbean crew. Starting with Mad Bull, Doctor, then branching out to yours and a few others – but I have never commented. We’ve recently started our own blog – but we are crap at it!! Anyway,I just could not see that you are in the Holy Land and not say hello. We live in Jerusalem just overlooking the Old City. We’d love to have you over – or even to take you out. Yes, I had to offer – it’s not often I get a Yardie in town. You may just think we are weirdos and dicide to giove us a miss – nevertheless, the invitation is open and if not – enjoy your time here!! But think about the offer 🙂

And as for you being a suspect – honey – everybody is!!! You can rest assured that it is highly unlikely that any terrorism will happen on an Israeli plane. NONE! 🙂

    Hi Miss Kingston!
I found you while I was searching for info on Kingston, because I’m visiting for the cricket world cup with my girlfriend and my cousins and my brother and my sister and my opening batsman! I’m very proud of my town, Sydney, and it looks like you are too. So if you have time (don’t feel bad if you don’t!) tell us Australians what we should do when we get there!

Have a gret time. Sorry I didn’t comment while you were away. I thought about you – and left a note telling you to get some Echinacea, and had sort of assumed that as such i had asked after you. I now realise that I didn’t. Welcome back anyway and have a nice Israel!!

Hey KG, Hope the trip is going well. I’ve seen the security on the El Al no chance of terrorism there. Some serious looking guys guarding that machine.

Of course they think you’re a terrorist. You’re obviously Arab and/or Muslim!

K.G. watch out for the “Road Map”… And make sure you don’t walk into high-sided walls that are not shown on your Michelin map…
