Use of technology

I am pleased to announce that the government is getting to grips with new forms of technology.

No, we haven’t all got email addresses or computerised diaries or the ability to send faxes from the computer or cell phones or the ability to text our ‘clients’ or anything like that.

Rather, someone has worked out how to use the phone as an intercom to speak to everyone who works in this building. So today we were all able to find out that the canteen was not serving cooked food.

Excellent. Public sector modernisation programme is working well.

    Hooray for technology 😀

They’ve been pondering the use of cameras to catch thieves here, I think the system is set up and running in some places.

    Some folks are complaining.
